Visit of "La baraque"

Hi everyone !

A friend told me it's possible to visit "la baraque". It's an aria in Louvain-La-Neuve with creative self-made houses, organic garden and shop, ... It was created in the beginning of the city, in the 70's.

My friend told me it's very interesting to contact them to visit it, sothat we can go inside the houses and talk with the people living there. She told me they do that something like once a month, when they have enough people asking for a visit.

Would some of you be interested to go there ?

Wivine is is doing an internship in Africa right now and won't be able to help with the organization.

I don't know the organizers or how to contact them....
Should I look on the internet or does somebody know them and can contact them?
Where do we meet on that day (at the train station)? I didn't join any activity of this forum yet.

I am up for this prefer Sunday though or later Saturday.. Mira, do you know anything about the car pooling options?
Other than that Dec 6th there is a tree planting event in Foret-de-Soignes. I went there last year and it was nice, but cannot make it this year.. Create a new event page for that??

There's no car pooling I'm aware of (you might wanna check with alex though). There's also a train going to brain-de-compte (a 5min drive from the place) from there someone should definitely be able to pick you up. The train ride took 15min if I recall correctly.

I will go by car (from Overijse) so I can pick people up at the train station or anywhere near Overijse, I don't mind making a small detour.

What a pity. In the end they had to cancel the activity because of all the rain this weekend. I'll keep you posted They'll surely plan it again for another more dryer weekend :)
